During the process of the production of this book, Jankowski sent the publisher a letter signed as Massimiliano Gioni. The letter was a formal request to not publish Mr. Jankowski’s book.
‘Dear Dr. von Wartburg,
I’m writing you to urge to avoid any relationship with Mr. Jankwoski… I do believe you should be warned of the perils you are putting yourself through by being associated with such a dubious character… Many times has Mr. Jankowski stormed the ivory tower of knowledge, leaving nothing but ruins behind… I beg you not to publish Mr. Jankowski’s book… it is for our own safety and sanity that I’m asking you to stay away from him.
