Joana Vasconcelos. Garden of Eden #2: Joana Vasconcelos, a Portuguese artist with a solid artistic career created a work specifically for El Aljub in Es Baluard: Garden of Eden #2, an immense garden of light and colour that is a rupture with any notion of a natural garden. The catalogue contains essays by Jorge Lima Barreto and Cristina Ros, as well as images of the installation created by Agustí Torres.

Es Baluard: The museum opened in 2004 in Palma as a museum of modern and contemporary art. Today it is a Spanish reference in its scope. Es Baluard has a collection of over 600 works of modern and contemporary art by artists linked to the Islands and/or with an international career.
