Paisatges Creuats. Mirades a la Col·lecció d’Es Baluard: “Paisatges creuats” marks the start of a series from “Views of Es Baluard’s Collection”, reviews of the collection of works belonging to Es Baluard Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma from different perspectives. Curated by Cristina Ros Salvà, director of Es Baluard, the selection is divided into three areas: “Modernism and PostModernity”, “Poetics and Construction” and “The Individual and Collectivity”. This catalogue contains the curator’s essay together with a reproduction of the works on display and the artists’ biographies.

Es Baluard: The museum opened in 2004 in Palma as a museum of modern and contemporary art. Today it is a Spanish reference in its scope. Es Baluard has a collection of over 600 works of modern and contemporary art by artists linked to the Islands and/or with an international career.
