Following the first ‘Live Publication’ project earlier this year as part of Glasgow Open House Festival 2015, we explored once more what a publication can become as an exhibition space. For UNFIX Festival, the publication emerged out of collective action and ecological values.

Each participant of UNFIX, a Festival of Ecology taking place at CCA Glasgow, contributed with a printed page through which to represent their practice. Contributions varied from an image, a photograph, a poem, a text, a drawing, a poster, a music score… the only guidelines was to be able to reproduced it for at least 50 copies.

Members of the public chose their pages and bound them together in situ, taking with them a representation of the festival in the format of a booklet.

The publication took the form of an exhibition at the CCA entrance as well as a booklet.
