PRINTSHOP! took the form of an exhibition, free drop in print studio and workshop conceived by artist and printer Edwin Pickstone for Tramway’s front T5 space. Printshop! took place during the month of August, 2015.

PRINTSHOP! was an opportunity for people to get creative and make and display prints, hosting a series of exciting free weekend workshops focused on screen printing, letterpress and book binding all devised and led by a host of different artists makers and designers. As part of the exhibition, a collaborative artwork produced by Edwin Pickstone and Ciara Phillips was also on show.

My Bookcase was invited to take part with a notebook-making workshop. Members of the public were able to transform the prints from previous Printshop! workshops in useful and bespoken little notebooks. We were very lucky to be assisted by the incredible designer Ruth Kirkby.
